This is a legal agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Dominion Dating, Inc., a Florida corporation (“Dominion Dating” , “us”, “our”, or “we”), which may be contacted at:

This Agreement applies to the access and use of our services through dominiondating.com and dominion.dating. For as long as you use our services, you agree to, and are bound by, this Agreement (including the Privacy Policy herein).

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES.

The Dominion Dating Services consist of the following, without limitation:

• A service for single men and women seeking marriage (the “Singles Service”);
• A content service, including a podcast and blog, containing content about and related to relationships;
• Any additional services currently offered, or which will be offered in the future by, or on behalf of Dominion Dating. We may offer new services or revise any of the existing ones, at our discretion, and this Agreement will apply to all additional or revised services. We also reserve the right to cease offering any of our services.

This Agreement is subject to change by Dominion Dating in its sole discretion at any time. We will notify you of any such changes by posting an updated version of the Agreement on this page. Your continued use of our services after the posting of revisions to this Agreement will constitute your acceptance of such revisions. Please consult the beginning of this Agreement to see when it was last revised.

1. Eligibility

1. Minimum Age. You must be at least 18 years old to register for our Singles Service. By doing so, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Orthodoxy & Piety. You must conform with the doctrinal positions and practices stated in our Member Requirements, on “Christian Orthodoxy,” “Gendered Piety,” and “Personal Piety.”
3. Spiritual Oversight. You must be a member in good standing with your local church, and under spiritual oversight, for a minimum of 3 months before using our service. This means you have intentionally submitted yourself to the discipleship of a qualified man. We do recognize that pastor’s wives, or other elder women, may also disciple younger women (Titus 2), but the pastor himself is ultimately the one charged with overseeing this work, and so it is his name that we require (see “Verification” below).
   1. Qualifications. A qualified man is one who is beyond reproach, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, who are not accused of dissipation, or rebellious, who is not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of dishonest gain, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, righteous, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the scriptures and orthodoxy (Titus 1:6-9).
   2. Acceptable Types of Overseers. We accept the following overseers:
      1. Local church pastors/elders. Normatively, all Christians should be under the authoritative shepherding of the ORDAINED pastors/elders in a church that upholds the standards outlined in our Member Requirements. Unordained small group leaders or “youth pastors” do not count (but see “De facto church pastor” below).
      2. Christian father. We recognize that for many young people, their primary overseer is still their father. Therefore, if you have never married and are still living at home, we accept a reference from your Christian father, provided he (a) accepts our doctrinal statement and (b) is under the spiritual oversight of a sound local church.
      3. De facto church pastor. If you cannot find a church within driving distance that upholds our standards, we are willing to consider good-faith de facto alternatives. A de facto church is a body of believers that functions as a church, even if it is not officially constituted as one. In particular, it must have men who are qualified as pastors according to scripture, and who act as pastors in their essential function, even if they are not officially ordained as such.
4. Marital Status. By using the Singles Service, you represent and warrant that you are single, and not presently married. If you are married, or divorced without Biblical grounds for divorce and remarriage, you may not use the Singles Service.
5. Sex Offense History. By using the Singles Service, you represent and warrant that you have never been convicted of a sex offense felony and/or are not required to register as a sex offender with any government entity. DOMINION DATING DOES NOT CURRENTLY CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON ITS MEMBERS. However, to the extent permissible by applicable law, Dominion Dating reserves the right to conduct any criminal background checks, at any time and using available public records, to confirm your compliance with this subsection. BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU HEREBY AUTHORIZE ANY SUCH CHECK IF IT IS LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE IN YOUR JURISDICTION.

2. Use of the Services

1. Verification. After registering for the Singles Service, your account must be verified before you can use our services.
   1. Endorsement. When you fill in the application form, you will need to enter the name and email of the man you are DIRECTLY accountable to for spiritual oversight. He will be sent an email notification to fill in a reference online, attesting to your fitness for membership at Dominion Dating. NOTE THAT CHRISTIAN FATHERS AND DE FACTO OVERSEERS MAY BE ASKED FOR EXTRA INFORMATION: fathers will need to supply the name of the pastor and church they themselves are submitted to for spiritual oversight; de facto pastors will need to give a brief explanation of the nature of the de facto church they labor in.
   2. Vetting. Upon our receiving the endorsement of your overseer, we will review your application and determine whether, in our exclusive judgment, you are eligible to be registered as a user of our services, per “Eligibility” above. We reserve the right to refuse registration to anyone for any reason.
2. Search. In the event that we verify your account, it will be integrated into the Dominion Dating database, and your profile will become searchable by opposite sex members using our services.
3. Messaging. Verified accounts are able to send messages to accounts of users of the opposite sex. All users are able to block and report any other users at any time.

3. Rules & Violations

1. Grounds For Termination. The following reasons are grounds for immediate account termination, subject to our exclusive judgement, and the due process outlined under “Due Process”:
   1. You are under 18 years old.
   2. You are unlawfully divorced (i.e., on account of some other reason than your spouse committing adultery or abandoning you).
   3. You have not been under qualified spiritual oversight for at least 3 months.
   4. You are registered as a sex offender.
   5. You express support for domestic discipline (wife-spanking).
   6. You express acceptance for the use or creation of pornography.
   7. You private message someone in a disrespectful, harassing, or threatening manner, on our platform, or on another platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, email, text message, etc.)
   8. You express views that are in violation of our member requirements.
   9. Your profile pictures are immodest or indecent.
   10. You commit any other kind of offense that disqualifies you from using our services.
2. Due Process. All feedback, complaints, and concerns by Dominion Dating users, pastors, parents, and administrators are subject to the following process of investigation and resolution:
   1. Temporary Suspension. We may temporarily suspend your account while we investigate a concern. If we elect to do this, we will notify you immediately by email.
   2. Right of Response. If your account is subject to investigation, we will inform you by email, and give you the opportunity to respond. DUE TO THE SENSITIVE NATURE OF OUR SERVICES, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ACT AS ACCUSER ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER USER, IF DOING SO IS NECESSARY TO PROTECT THEM.
   3. Disclosure of Evidence. We reserve the right to share any pertinent information with any or all parties involved in an investigation. No ruling will be rendered on the basis of evidence not disclosed to you.
   4. Paper Trail. We reserve the right to conduct the entirety of any investigation electronically, to guarantee clear and accurate records.
   5. Summary Termination of Service. In exceptional circumstances where there is clear and irrefutable proof of offense, we reserve the right to summarily terminate your account without further investigation or prior notice.
   6. Escalation. We reserve the right to involve your spiritual overseer at any time in an investigation, at our sole discretion. In the event that our investigation leads to the termination of your account, we WILL notify your spiritual overseer with the details of our investigation and ruling. IN THE EVENT THAT WE SUSPECT CRIMINAL CONDUCT, WE WILL SEEK LEGAL COUNSEL AND/OR REPORT OUR INVESTIGATION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.

4. Payments

1. Free 10 Day Trial. It is free to register for the Singles Service, which you may use free of charge  after your account is verified, for a period of 10 days.  You are not required to provide a credit card, nor make payment before, during, or after this Free 10 Day Trial.
2. Dating Subscription.  At the end of your Free 10 Day Trial, you will receive notice with the option to purchase a 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month dating subscription. If you choose not to purchase a subscription, you will no longer be able to use our services.
3. Auto Renew.  Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of its term. If you do not wish for your subscription to automatically renew, you can terminate your subscription at any time, and your account will remain active until the end of the subscription term. You will receive a “service renewal” email 7 days prior to being auto-billed for any renewed subscription, unless you opt-out of renewal reminder emails.
4. Payment Information. When making a purchase, you will be asked to supply certain payment information, including that regarding your billing account (e.g., credit card or debit card).  You agree that all information that you provide to us will be accurate, complete and current. You further agree that our payment processing service provider(s) may store and communicate with your financial institution to facilitate your payments. You agree to pay all valid charges incurred by you or any other user of your account (including all installment payments and/or fees, if applicable); any applicable taxes on your purchase; and/or any additional fees for the use of any payment mechanism or account connected to your purchase (including any processing charges relating to same).

5. Term and Termination

This Agreement will become effective upon your acceptance of it, by your use of our services, and will remain in effect in perpetuity unless terminated hereunder.

1. Grounds and Notice. Either you or we may terminate your account at any time, for any reason or no reason, without explanation, effective upon sending written notice to the other party.
2. User Data. We reserve the right to remove your account information or data from our services and any other records, if your account and/or access to the services is terminated.
3. Refunds & Fees Owing
   1. For termination by you. In the event that you choose to terminate your account, and you have purchased a multi-month subscription which would still run for one month or more, you may ask for and receive a refund on your unused month(s). Alternatively, you may request to transfer your remaining month(s) to another user or users as a gift. We do not refund or transfer partial months. You can request a refund or transfer by emailing help@dominiondating.com.
   2. For termination by us. In the event that your access to any of our services is terminated due to a material breach of this Agreement, you agree that all fees paid to Dominion Dating by you are nonrefundable.
4. Closing Your Account. You may terminate your account by following the steps in the section under “Cancellations” below, or by sending a notice of cancellation to: Dominion Dating, Inc., Attn: Cancellations, 77 BRECKYN LOOP # 813, FREEPORT, FL USA.
5. Disclosure To Other Users. Following any termination of your Singles Service account due to a violation of our Agreement, we may, at our discretion or as required by law, send a notice thereof to other registered users with whom you have corresponded, for their protection.

6. Deletion & Deactivation

As a user, you may request to terminate your account by deletion or deactivation.

1. Deletion: Deletion is permanent. You may request that your account be deleted by sending an email to help@dominiondating.com. All data relating to your account will be permanently deleted and become unrecoverable, including all messages sent to or received from other users. It is highly recommended that you make a backup copy of any messages you wish to preserve. We recommend reserving permanent deletion until you have the wedding date set.
2. Deactivation: Deactivation is temporary. If you think that there is a remote chance that you’ll use Dominion Dating again in the future, then we recommend a temporary deactivation, so your account can be reinstated later if desired, and your subscription will resume. You can deactivate (or reactivate) your account from the settings page. We recommend using the deactivation feature if you’re in an exclusive relationship that has not yet resulted in an engagement.

7. Privacy Policy

In order to provide our services, we collect information about you that, alone or in combination with other information, can be used to identify you as an individual (“personal information”). What personal information we collect and process when you use our services depends on how and why you interact with us.

1. Personal Information You Provide. When you register for an account or subscribe to any of our services, we collect a variety of information about you, which may include contact information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, dating preferences, etc. You may also choose to provide us with photos which contain your personal likeness and other information. By providing us any photos, you agree that we may make them available to other users of our services. We may also collect your name, contact information, and a copy of your correspondences with us, if you contact us. If you correspond with other Dominion Dating members through our services, we will collect and store this information also, using reversible encryption to safeguard your privacy while still allowing us to investigate rules violations when necessary. Further, to process purchases, we may require your name, contact, and payment information, including but not necessarily limited to credit or debit card information and associated account information. If you would like us to delete such payment information from our systems, you may contact us.
2. Sensitive Personal Information. During the registration process and while updating your profile, you may provide us with personal information that is considered “sensitive” in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to, religious beliefs, ethnicity and political views. This information is only used by us to provide the services to you, but may include, without limitation, making such information visible to other users if the functionality of our services depends on it.

8. Limitation of Liability

1. Limitation of Damages and Aggregate Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL DOMINION DATING BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND DUE TO OR RELATING TO OUR SERVICES. This includes, without limitation, loss of data or interruptions of service, even if we know of the possibility of such. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL DOMINION DATING’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY, IN ANY FORM OF ACTION WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF THE SERVICES , EXCEED THE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR YOUR ACCOUNT, OR, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID DOMINION DATING FOR THE USE OF ANY SERVICES, THE AMOUNT OF USD $25.00 OR ITS EQUIVALENT.
2. No Liability for Non-Dominion Dating Actions. AS ABOVE, MUTATIS MUTANDIS FOR THE CONDUCT OF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF OUR SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BODILY INJURY, DEATH, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM COMMUNICATIONS OR MEETINGS WITH OTHER REGISTERED USERS OF THE SERVICES. THIS INCLUDES ANY CLAIMS, LOSSES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CONDUCT OF USERS WHO HAVE REGISTERED UNDER FALSE PRETENSES OR WHO ATTEMPT TO DEFRAUD OR HARM YOU.
3. Information Verification. Dominion Dating may, but is not required to, use various ways of verifying information that users have provided. However, none of these ways are perfect, and you agree that we will have no liability to you arising from any incorrectly verified information.

9. Indemnification

1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Dominion Dating and its affiliates and/or related entities, whether direct or indirect, current, former or future, and its and their respective current, former or future officers, directors, employees, agents, successors and assigns and related third parties (each an “Indemnified Party”), for any claims, causes of action, debts, damages, losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) relating to or arising out of any third-party claim that (a) your use of or inability to use our services, (b) any user postings made by you, © your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third-party, or (d) your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations, except to the extent caused by any unlawful or negligent act or omission by Dominion Dating. We reserve the right, at our own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses. An Indemnified Party may participate in the defense by counsel of its own choosing, at its own cost and expense. You shall not settle any claim that adversely affects an Indemnified Party or imposes any obligation or liability on an Indemnified Party without the Indemnified Party’s prior written consent.
2. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU HEREBY RELEASE EACH INDEMNIFIED PARTY FROM ALL DAMAGES (WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE), LOSSES, LIABILITIES, COSTS AND EXPENSES OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND THIRD PARTIES CONCERNING THE SERVICES OR THIS AGREEMENT.
